Cooking Basics

One item of wisdom that I like to share about food is that flavor does not equate to health. Unfortunately, the flavors that chefs create by charbroiling, frying or caramelizing are actually harmful to our bodies. Remember, chefs are not nutritionists, except the ones who actually are. Any time I see a chef recommend cooking with extra virgin olive oil I cringe.
