Your First 45 Minute Appointment
Book your initial 50 minute appointment online.
Fill out the intake form sent to you before your visit, so you are not spending your valuable visit time going over the details. Dr. Bahareh will go over your intake paperwork fully so you are both prepared to dive right in, and use your time efficiently.
Dr Bahareh will have a detailed conversation about your current state of health, health history, family history, diet, lifestyle habits, etc. At that point, Dr. Bahareh will discuss potential approaches and recommended laboratory workups with you. This visit will last approximately 45 minutes and is primarily an information gathering and sharing session. Dr Bahareh may make some simple recommendations at this time, but most advice will be deferred until after lab results are in and there has been time to thoughtfully consider your case.
Your Follow-up Visit
The second visit is generally scheduled a week or two later. It is at that time that Dr. Bahareh will discuss the review of findings from your history and your lab results. This includes what may be causing your health problems and what supplementation (vitamin, minerals, herbs), diet, and lifestyle changes may be needed, as well as any or other medications that may be appropriate for your care. Prescriptions, are sent directly to your preferred pharmacy. Supplement recommendations are shipped right to your door. The follow-up visit can range between 30- 45 minutes depending on the complexity of your case.
Future Follow-up Visits
Follow-up visits are usually 20- 30 minutes and are scheduled approximately 2–12 weeks out to evaluate progress and make any adjustments in your program. For most people, a minimum commitment of 6 visits is required for sustainable benefits. How often you see Dr Bahareh after that will depend on what you are being treated for. People who don't have acute or chronic illnesses, see Dr Bahareh only once to twice a year for screening lab tests. Many people who have multiple complaints are seen more often based on the severity of their condition
Dr. Bahareh does not bill insurance. Most extended health benefit insurances or Health Saving Accounts offer some coverage for naturopathic medicine. Most frequently naturopathic appointments are covered. Individualized supplement prescriptions are rarely covered under extended health plans. This is a general guideline, every plan is different, please inquire directly with your insurance provider to see what coverage you are eligible for.
An invoice will be e-mailed to you before your appointment and will need to be paid in full before your appointment. A receipt will be given so that you can submit independently to receive your eligible reimbursement.
I look forward to collaborating with you on your health journey.
